If you like my writing or the links I provide, I would very much appreciate it if you could kick in a buck or two occasionally. It will go to a good cause: keeping me fed. Yes, I'll be spending it on things like generic/store-brand beans and rice. Luxuries take second place to little things like basic nutrition and paying bills.
2/8/12:
SnailMail/Etc. Carl BussjaegerCash, checks, bright shiny gold or silver, or other cool stuff gratefully accepted. I just became aware of Shire Silver: small SPENDABLE denominations of real gold or silver metal set in wallet-sized cards. Add this to the open-ended list of things I'd love to see in my tip jar.
PAYPAL (Verified the PayPal link 12/22/11; working at that time.)
AMAZON ACCOUNT SUSPENDED 2/21/12
Amazon suspended my Payments account for violation of their AUP forbidding donations without a government approval (must be 501(c)3 approved by the Apparently having determined that I must be a drug-running terrorist laundering my ill-gotten gains (@$25/year), they suspended my account, and gave me five days to withdraw remaining funds. Two people had kicked this year for a total of $25. However, Amazon would not actually permit me to withdraw it. I was able to refund those two donations. I'm sure it was entirely coincidental that this happened immediately after I finally got Amazon to acknowledge multiple DMCA takedown letters and de-list the pirated copies of my books, which were "earning" Amazon far more revenue than were the paltry site donations they've now (also) stopped.
ING DIRECT People have also sent me cash via ING DIRECT, which useful because it transfers directly from your account to my checking account (so I can immediately use it to pay bills). If you use this, send the transfer to carl@bussjaeger.org.
